Resources for Parents
Raising Christian children in a secular world can be very difficult. Here are some resources to help.
Family ‘round the Table is a resource designed to help families gather together at home to support spiritual growth by sharing a meal, playing together, talking about and reflecting on the Bible, and praying together. Each volume contains 52 complete sessions including links to recipe, game and music sites and is based on the readings of the Revised Common Lectionary (Year A, Year B. and Year C). This resource is only $10 (US) to download.

From time to time, all parents need a little help. Sometimes, a piece of solid, encouraging advice can help you have an “a-ha” moment that changes the way you think and act. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong with kids, our positive, strength-based approach to parenting focuses on what’s right with kids (and parents), and the small, everyday steps you can take to help kids be successful in the future. This site is provided by SEARCH Institute (an independent, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization committed to helping create healthy communities for every young person. Their mission: to provide leadership, knowledge, and resources to promote healthy children, youth, and communities).
