The Knitting Circle is a group of knitters (some who have been knitting for decades, others who are learning as they go) who meet Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 until 2:30pm to knit and chat, and of course enjoy a wee cup of tea. The knitted articles have gone to several different missions: lap blankets for cancer patients, prayer shawls, afghans for sick & shut-ins, slippers for the Southdale Chaplaincy after-school program, hats & scarves for Men’s Mission, purple hats for the hospitals’ shaken baby campaign. Most of the wool is donated by the congregation.
Knitting Circle has returned after a Summer break. You are welcome to join us!
